The Movement

Chirofit, the leader in manual and chiropractic therapy in the San Fernando Valley is proud to introduce The Movement! I am calling this post and related posts The Movement because that is the basis of treatment at Chirofit Chatsworth. This blog more of an introduction into how we look at the body and how we treat our patients at our office. Chirofit is a different kind of chiropractic office, we focus on the 3 keys of human movement to treat and heal the body.

The 3 keys of human movement:

MOBILITY

FLEXIBILITY

STRENGTH

Over the next three blogs we are going to go into detail about each one of these keys of human movement. But before that I want to tell you a little about Chirofit and our approach to patient treatment. We look at a patient when they come in as an individual. Every body is similar in function, but there are many factors that cause patients to have certain pains and discomforts such as shape, size and environment. We look at these differences and develop a treatment plan that focuses on mobility, flexibility and strength. Each treatment is meant to build on each other, First we treat the pain, then we treat the cause and finally we train for prevention. This simple equation can be performed in many different ways from chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, Kinesiotape, decompression therapy and physiotherapy. All of these treat the body in different ways and we design a treatment plan that is best suited for the individual. Our goal is to have a patient for life and by that I don’t mean they see us three times a week for life; we teach our patients how to prevent future injuries and re-injuries and give them the tools to help themselves when minor aches and pain occur. I hope this was informative and we will be adding videos to our website and our YouTube channel to guide our patients and the community how to improve their keys to human movement so be on the look out. In our next blog we will be talking about MOBILITY.
